Biography

Mehdi Farid was reported to have been executed by hanging by the Iranian authorities in January 2026. He was documented in a striped prison uniform and was reportedly killed based on fabricated charges and a predetermined sentence. He is remembered as a victim of the judicial system's use of capital punishment.

مهدی فرید در دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ (ژانویه ۲۰۲۶) بر اساس گزارش‌ها توسط مقامات جمهوری اسلامی با اتهاماتی ساختگی و حکمی از پیش تعیین شده به دار آویخته شد. تصویری از او با لباس راه‌راه زندان پیش از اجرای حکم اعدام منتشر شده است. او به عنوان یکی از قربانیان سیستم قضایی و احکام اعدام در یادها مانده است.
